I always wanted to have a logo designed for my website. Everytime I started, I was biased and influenced by the logos that I had seen before, as, I always thought on those lines. Yesterday, being a weekend and summer ( already! ) here, I had not gone out anywhere for shoot and I had few hours of time for myself. Thanks to the bad internet connection, I couldn't even check my mails let alone browsing!!

I casually opened photoshop and realised that I can work on a new logo and started to play around with different tools available. After an hour I realised it was going nowhere and started to contemplate as to what the new logo should represent. One thing was clear - me being an ardent nature lover, I wanted some of the elements of nature to be present in the logo. But, I was not ready to compromise on the logo that does not represent the theme of " Frames from wild ". It simply didn't make any sense.

Finally, I jotted down these requirement and design goals:

1) The logo should have first 3 starting letters of the words "Frames from wild " i.e. F,F & W

3) The logo should also have a TREE. According to me, without trees, out planet cannot sustain life. Little sensible, though not completely :)

I satdown for nearly 7 hours and I had few versions on the canvas but no where near what you see that's already up here. When I showed the logos to my mom and asked her as to what it looked like to her, she said - "this one looks like the face of a man!". Grrr... I had to do something about it !!

After hundreds of iterations at one point I hit gold, I was searching for something on photoshop, when I changed few color settings, I got this nice looking sort of beige color. It just popped up from nowhere! I was delighted. It was the 'light bulb moment' and it took me 9 full hours to reach here!!

Finally to change my mom's words, I came up with few long 'whiskers' to make it look like a cat !! By this time I had met all the desired design goals and it is finally up there.

I guess this will the logo of FFW for sometime now, may be for long too!
