Frames from wild was envisioned by me during early 2007 when I began to frequent wilderness and started to make some good images of nature and its beautiful creations. Initially the thought was to make this second home of mine as an online portfolio of my 'best images' ( Best is a relative term!). But later I decided otherwise and wanted to portray all of my image collections. It didn't stop there, I also needed a common platform where in I can share my views about nature, photography and my experiences in the wilderness with one and all. That's when Frames from wild came into existence.
Going forward, frames from wild would also serve as a frame of reference to me to look back at my work and contemplate on the path ahead. Through this site of mine, by portraying some of the images made by me, I wish to establish an emotional and personal connection with all the people who would stumble across this site which in turn may initiate them to appreciate nature better. I hope this site would also help me work towards making better images, portraying the beauty of nature at its best.
